Overview of Academic Research

Researcher Cong Weitao and his team have long been dedicated to investigating key scientific issues in the fields of cardiovascular and liver diseases. They have conducted innovative research on myocardial infarction injury repair, the pathogenesis of diabetic cardiomyopathy, treatment of myocardial hypertrophy, liver fibrosis, and liver regeneration.

(1) Growth factors and cardiovascular diseases (diabetic cardiomyopathy, myocardial aging, myocardial autophagy, etc.);  

(2) Growth factors and liver diseases (hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury, liver fibrosis, etc.).
