Overview of Academic Research

Wang, Zhouguang, Researcher/Doctoral Supervisor, Director of the Scientific Research Department, the First Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University; Leader of the Leading Innovation Team of Zhejiang Province; Leading Talent of Zhejiang Province; Outstanding Young Scientists of Zhejiang Province; Distinguished Expert of Zhejiang Province; Long-term research focuse on "FGF in aging, regenerative regulation, and novel drug development." In recent years, centering on FGF in aging/regeneration, as the first/corresponding author, he has published more than 40 high-level SCI papers in journals such as Nature Aging, Science Advances, Advanced Materials, and Advanced Science, among which 10 papers have an Impact Factor (IF) of ≥20. The cumulative number of citations exceeds 14,000, with an H-index of 37.

He has presided over more than 10 funding projects, including the National Youth Science Fund Project (Category B, formerly the Excellent Young Scientists Fund), 2 National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) General Program projects, National Youth Science Fund Project (Category C), and Zhejiang Provincial Outstanding Youth Fund Project.

He holds academic positions such as Executive Associate Editor or Associate Editor for more than 10 journals including Military Medical Research (Mil Med Res), Brain-X, and Cells; Young Editorial Board Member for journals like American Journal of Physiology - Cell Physiology (AJPS), Aging and Disease, and iMeta; Youth Committee Member of the Chinese Society of Biotechnology; and Committee Member of the Brain Rhythm Specialty Committee of the Chinese Physiological Society. As the lead editor, he has edited two English monographs on growth factors in aging/regeneration medicine.

 

His research interest include:

1.        Anti-aging effectand mechanism of Cytokine & Growth factors;

2.        The effect of Cytokine & Growth factors in aging-associated neuroregeneration;
